Write a Letter to Your Childhood Self
Sit down and write to the child you once were, with all the compassion you have now. A quiet hour that can heal more than you expect.

Somewhere inside you is the child you used to be, carrying the hopes and hurts that shaped who you became. Writing them a letter is a gentle way to look back with the understanding you did not have then, and to offer the reassurance you needed at the time.
Find a peaceful place and, if it helps, a photo of your younger self to anchor the connection. Spend a few honest minutes remembering the happy moments and the hard ones, not shying away from the difficult feelings. Then write: address your younger self with warmth, share the wisdom and encouragement you wish you had received, and close with kindness and love, the way you would for a dear friend. Afterward, sit with how it feels.
