Gratitude is easy to talk about and easy to forget. A gratitude scavenger hunt makes it playful and shared: instead of one person journalling alone, a whole group goes hunting for the small things that bring joy, then comes back to compare and talk about them.

Plan the scope first, indoor or outdoor, and who is taking part, then build a list of gratitude tasks: find something that makes you laugh, spot an object in your favourite colour, name someone who helps you. Set up with printed lists and maybe small tokens as rewards, run the hunt, and give everyone time to explore. The magic is in the reflection at the end, when people share what they found and why it mattered.

Plan the scope. Indoor or outdoor? How many people and what ages? That shapes the tasks you set.

Write a list of gratitude tasks and challenges: find something that makes you laugh, an object in your favourite colour, a memory that brings joy.

Suggestion: Aim for things people usually overlook.

Prepare the materials: printed lists, pens, and maybe small tokens as rewards. Choose a location that allows space to reflect and interact.

Run the hunt. Encourage everyone to explore and engage with their surroundings, and give them enough time to complete the list.

Gather everyone to share their discoveries and why each one mattered. Close with a group activity or a shared meal.
