You do not need a full workout to feel better in your body. Ten minutes of gentle stretching eases stiff shoulders, releases held tension and leaves you calmer and more mobile. It is small enough to do daily and powerful enough that you will miss it when you skip it.

Clear a bit of floor, breathe your way in, and move slowly through a few simple stretches. This is not about pushing, it is about giving your body a moment of attention.

Find a comfortable, quiet spot with a little room. Your living room, the gym floor, or a park on a nice day.

Set a ten minute timer so you can stay present instead of clock watching.

Begin with two minutes of slow breathing, in through the nose and out through the mouth, to ease into it.

Move gently through neck tilts, shoulder rolls, a side stretch, a soft forward fold with bent knees, and a calf stretch.

Suggestion: Hold each one for a few slow breaths. Never force it.

Finish by lying back or sitting quietly, eyes closed, and notice how your body feels now.
